Now Hiring: Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) – Hybrid/Remote | Raleigh, NC

Are you a licensed Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) open to relocating or looking for more flexibility in your schedule? Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a qualified and passionate TVI to serve students in the Raleigh, North Carolina area through a hybrid/remote work model .

This position is designed to support student success through a balance of essential in-person services—such as instruction and IEP meetings—and the convenience of remote responsibilities like planning, documentation, and collaboration.

Position Highlights:

• Location: Raleigh, NC Area (Hybrid/Remote)
• Compensation: $50 per hour, based on experience (Weekly Pay)
• Travelers: Tax-Free Stipends Available

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instructional services to students with visual impairments
• Conduct functional vision assessments
• Collaborate with general and special education staff, related service providers, and families
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements

Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired or eligibility to obtain
• Experience working in K–12 educational settings preferred
• Ability to work independently in both in-person and virtual formats
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
