Job Summary: The Warehouse Team Lead for the Outbound team is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the outbound warehouse staff. This role ensures the accurate, efficient, and timely fulfillment and shipment of all customer orders. The Team Lead will motivate, train, and mentor the team, enforce safety protocols, and implement processes to optimize workflow and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Order Fulfillment & Shipping:
• Oversee the entire outbound process, including picking, packing, and staging orders for shipment.
• Coordinate with Logistics team to schedule pickups and ensure timely departures.
• Verify all shipping documents, such as packing lists and bills of lading, for accuracy.
• Minimize shipping errors by conducting quality checks on packed orders.
• Team Leadership & Management:
• Assign daily tasks and workloads to team members to ensure all deadlines are met.
• Train and onboard new hires on outbound procedures, safety protocols, and system usage.
• Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to team members, and address any performance or disciplinary issues as needed.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment to achieve productivity goals.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• At least 1 year of experience in a lead or supervisory role, preferably within an outbound or shipping team.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners is required.
• Forklift certification is highly preferred.

• Proven leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate others.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with a high attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks as required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime, as needed.
