Job Description

We are representing an industry recognized manufacturing organization within the Healthcare/Pharma market who is actively seeking a Technical Production Manager due to the impending completion of greenfield cleanroom later this month. This position will report to the Director of Manufacturing and Technical services who has positioned this as a "fast track/high visibility" role within the organization. They are looking to begin the interview process ASAP!

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing and Technical Services, this Technical Production Manager will be responsible for leading a 50,000 sq ft state of the art cleanroom (medical grade packaging) consisting of ~60 employees (Process Technicians, Supervisors, Quality Engineering, Automation/Controls, in addition to highly skilled operators).
• Complete ownership over meeting manufacturing deliverables and budget.
• Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and department business plan goals.
• Establish Production KPI's, and deliverables in conjunction with Director of Manufacturing and Technical Services.
• Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues.
• Direct department process improvements and corrective actions.
• Provide key input into the development of the department strategic business plan and identify and track key measurables to support the department business plan goals.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technical field is required for consideration.
• Candidate should have at least 2-5 years of Production/Operations Leadership experience within healthcare, pharma, medical device, and/or packaging (clean room experience preferred).
• Candidate should be familiar with Job Shop type of environment where change overs occur on a consistent basis.
• Candidate should be well versed in with IQ (Installation Qualification), OQ (Operational Qualification), and PQ (Performance Qualification). These are "validation protocols" in high regulated environments.
• Candidate should be well versed in Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, and/or Continuous Improvement with strong approach to problem solving
