📍 Residential Construction Surveying
A Texas-based surveying company specializing in fast, high-volume residential construction projects is expanding into the Houston market. Their “gorilla surveying” approach means quick, accurate work that keeps builders moving and projects on schedule.
They’re looking for a strong, dependable Crew Chief to help launch operations in Houston. This person will manage daily field operations, lead and train helpers, maintain gear, and serve as the boots-on-the-ground contact for builder communication and on-site execution.
What You’ll Be Doing:
✔️ Running daily job lists + planning efficient routes
✔️ Leading your crew + training helpers
✔️ Maintaining equipment + company vehicle
✔️ Communicating with builder supers to solve onsite issues
✔️ Supporting other crews as needed
What They’re Looking For:
✅ 2+ years of land surveying experience
✅ Experience leading residential or construction crews
✅ Familiarity with Houston housing developments
✅ Strong leadership + communication skills
✅ Willingness to train in DFW for 2 weeks before launching in Houston
✅ Leica equipment experience is a bonus
