Job Description

Lakeshore Talent is in search of a Supply Chain Coordinator to join a well-established Oil & Gas company in Downtown Denver on a long-term contract basis. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to grow professionally in supply chain operations and logistics.

Position Details:

  • Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator
  • Location: Downtown Denver
  • Contract Length: 6 months to start
  • Pay Rate: $28–$30 per hour
  • Work Schedule Options (Full Time):
  • Option 1: 8.5 hours/day M–Th, 6 hours on Friday
  • Option 2 (Most Popular): 9 hours/day M–Th, 4 hours on Friday
  • Travel: Up to 10% possible
  • Equipment Provided: Laptop, cell phone, building badge

About the Role:

This role supports various individuals and category groups within the Supply Chain department. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, asks questions, and thrives in fast-paced, shifting environments. You’ll receive hands-on training from a lead within the team and support when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify department invoices and apply any available discounts
  • Ensure vendor submission procedures are followed
  • Contact and follow up with inactive vendors
  • Organize and file vendor and equipment documentation
  • Maintain equipment records and generate regular reports
  • Oversee new vendor setup and onboarding
  • Coordinate freight logistics
  • Assist in annual physical yard counts and reconciliation

Qualifications:

  • Required:
  • Exceptional Excel skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, and proactive
  • Ability to work independently and ask questions as needed
  • Preferred:
  • Background in oil & gas or accounting
  • Prior experience in supply chain, logistics, or administrative roles
  • Comfortable in professional client-facing settings (e.g., team dinners or vendor meetings)

Soft Skills Needed:

  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Able to pivot and reprioritize effectively
  • Comfortable networking and engaging with vendors/team members
  • Adaptable to changing demands and business needs

Onboarding Requirements:

  • Background check
  • Drug screen (including THC)
  • One professional reference required prior to start
