Part-Time Content Creator & Video Editor (Social Media)

Columbia, SC | Onsite | $16/hr | Up to 25 hrs/week

Are you a creative powerhouse with a knack for storytelling, a camera-ready personality, and a passion for social media? We’re looking for a dynamic Content Creator & Video Editor to join our team and help us craft compelling, educational, and visually engaging content that resonates across platforms.

What You’ll Do:

Create and edit short-form and long-form video content for social media
Capture high-quality photos and videos that align with our brand
Develop engaging posts, reels, and stories that spark conversation
Edit with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, and Adobe Express
Stay ahead of trends and craft content that’s fresh, shareable, and smart
Collaborate with our news team to produce impactful media
Repurpose existing content into platform-optimized formats
Organize and manage media assets with precision

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in multimedia, communications, or production
Strong video editing chops and a sharp eye for storytelling
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other editing tools
Comfortable and confident on camera
Experience with DSLR cameras, lighting, and audio gear (bonus!)
Quick-thinking, creative, and versatile across platforms
Background in news or radio? Huge plus.
