Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems using AutoCAD and SolidWorks .
• Work independently to manage design projects from concept through implementation with minimal supervision.
• Provide technical guidance and design recommendations to support project teams.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing and assembly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and cost requirements.
• Review and approve mechanical designs, ensuring adherence to company standards and industry best practices.
• Conduct design reviews, identify potential improvements, and implement solutions.
• Support project implementation, including vendor coordination and oversight of prototype builds.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical design challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all design work complies with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Ability to read and understand designs and schematics
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work
