Job Description

Trinity's Engineering & EHS Workforce Solutions business line (E2HS) is seeking a Regional Safety Advisor. This is for a contract vacancy at a battery manufacturing and installation services client in the Southwest Region covering sites in Texas, Arizona, and California.

On-Site Support Expectations:

  • Conduct daily site safety inspections and report findings to client project management.
  • Support site-specific safety orientations and toolbox talks for contractors and subcontractors.
  • Monitor compliance with OSHA, NFPA, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Assist in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and development of corrective actions.
  • Review and support implementation of site-specific Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Safe Work Permits.
  • Provide support during high-risk activities such as heavy lifts, electrical work, hot work, confined space entry, and commissioning.
  • Ensure contractors are aligned with e-Storage’s EHS requirements and the Client's site-specific safety plans.
  • Participate in weekly safety meetings with the Client, Owner, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain EHS documentation, including inspection logs, training records, and incident reports.

Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in any field related to EH&S, such as industrial hygiene, engineering, science or equivalent.
  • Professional certification highly preferred (ASP / CSP).
  • 5+ years of prior safety project management experience to industry.

Knowledge and Abilities:

1. Strong working knowledge of environmental, health, and safety compliance law and industrial hygiene.

2. Ability to identify critical process and system needs and then implement appropriate action plans on a global basis.

3. Ability to establish agreement and consensus with management

4. Adept in developing and delivering safety training

5. Ability to integrate resources across the organization
