At Bella's Voice, we’re more than just a thrift store – we’re a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting animal welfare through every item sold. As a Hanger/Tagger , you’ll play a key role in preparing our donated goods to hit the sales floor. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.

Key Responsibilities

Processing and Preparation:

• Safely and respectfully use store supplies, including utility belts and tagging guns, according to operational guidelines.
• Sort clothing and accessories into appropriate categories (e.g., men’s, women’s, kids’, accessories, linens).
• Inspect items for quality, discarding those that are over-worn, over-washed, ripped, torn, stretched, stained, smelly, or otherwise unsellable.
• Identify items on the "Do Not Sell" list and remove them accordingly.

Tagging and Organization:

• Neatly hang items by category and ensure they are tagged in accordance with store guidelines to prepare them for pricing.
• Ensure all items are presented in a manner that is attractive and easy for customers to browse.

Workspace Maintenance:

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace to promote efficient operations and ensure safety.

Team Collaboration:

• Assist other backroom staff as needed to support overall workflow and operations.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move items up to 40 lbs.

Job Specifications

Job Type:

• Part-time (12 - 24+ hours per week)

Schedule: 

• 7:30 am - 4:00 pm (shift times may be flexible)
• Weekdays
• Weekends

Pay: Starting rate of $17.50 per hour
