Job Description

Position: Machine Operator

Shift: 3rd Shift - 11pm-7am Sunday-Thursday

Pay: $18/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor machines used in the production of cardboard sheets, boxes, and packaging materials
• Load raw materials such as paper rolls or flat sheets and ensure continuous machine operation
• Make adjustments to equipment settings for size, thickness, and material requirements
• Perform in-process quality checks to ensure product meets specifications for size, cut, fold, and strength
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and notify maintenance for larger concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company standards
• Complete production documentation and meet daily output goals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous machine operation experience in manufacturing or packaging a plus
• Ability to read a tape measure and basic production paperwork
• Physically able to stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a noisy environment
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow safety rules and standard operating procedures
