About LIFE Pittsburgh
Aging is inevitable—but how we age can be phenomenal. LIFE Pittsburgh is a growing nonprofit organization with a mission to help older adults age with dignity, independence, and joy.
With a team of 350+ purpose-driven professionals, we offer a compassionate alternative to institutional care through the nationally recognized PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) model. Our teams—nurses, physicians, therapists, social workers, and others—wrap each Participant in care designed to honor their choices, preserve their independence, and uplift their daily lives.
Here, your job is more than a job. It’s a calling to care.
What We Offer
You’ve seen what makes someone vulnerable. Now be part of what makes them resilient.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse at LIFE Pittsburgh, your work has real weight. You’ll serve older adults across Allegheny County—not in a hospital, but in their homes, communities, and at our Day Health Centers. You’ll be the face they trust and the steady hand they rely on.
Through the LIFE Pittsburgh program, frail older adults can remain in their own home and receive a coordinated plan of care that enables them to maintain their independence and enjoy a safe and active life in the community.
