Job Description

Lead Change Management Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Lead Change Management Consultant to support enterprise-wide technology, security, and transformation initiatives. This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive change management strategies that ensure successful adoption of business-critical changes by impacted stakeholders.

You will operate in a dynamic environment, juggling multiple priorities across a broad change portfolio. This role collaborates closely with program delivery teams, senior leadership, communications, human resources, and other key partner functions to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust change management strategies, frameworks, and plans for enterprise programs or multi-workstream projects
  • Apply proven change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci) and customize approaches based on business context and stakeholder needs
  • Assess organizational readiness and change impacts; define tailored interventions across sponsorship, communications, training, coaching, and resistance management
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive sponsors and senior stakeholders, coaching them on effective change leadership behaviors
  • Align change management efforts with project and program delivery frameworks to ensure cohesive execution and adoption
  • Define success metrics and integrate them into program-level reporting and performance monitoring
  • Promote best practices in change leadership and contribute to the evolution of enterprise change management capabilities
  • Collaborate with agile delivery teams, product owners, and functional leads to embed change early in the development lifecycle
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior change professionals or contingent resources

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Organizational Development, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in organizational change management, business transformation, or a related discipline

Preferred Qualifications

  • Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, CCMP)
  • Experience leading change efforts within technology, cybersecurity, or digital transformation initiatives
  • Experience in consulting environments or cross-industry engagements
  • Familiarity with Agile, project management, design thinking, or customer experience frameworks
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, coach, and lead in a matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, adapt quickly to evolving priorities, and lead change in complex organizations
  • Experience supporting large-scale transformation or strategic initiatives involving process, system, and culture changes
  • Background in training development, stakeholder engagement, or communications planning is a plus
