About X School
Founded in 2021, X School is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization to provide students with the knowledge, skills and aptitude they need to succeed in an ever-changing AI-driven world.
We are dedicated to helping young learners explore the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence in fun, age-appropriate ways! Our classes introduce kids to AI concepts using interactive projects, Scratch coding, and creative tools like ChatGPT. We believe AI learning should be playful, hands-on, and inspiring - sparking curiosity rather than just teaching code.
Position Overview
We’re looking for enthusiastic part-time instructors who enjoy working with children and are excited about bringing technology and creativity together. You don’t need to be an AI expert - we’ll provide paid training and curriculum support.
You’ll teach small groups of elementary students using our structured lesson plans, activities, and games to help them understand how AI works in simple, relatable ways.
Locations : Austin, TX (two campuses are actively hiring, which are 6401 Cedar St, Austin, TX 78746 and 1314 Patterson Rd, Austin, TX 78733)
Working Hours : Weekends; 1-2 classes per week; 2 hours per class
Pay Rate : $40 - $60 per hour (depending on qualifications)
Contract : Quarterly basis; Part-time, Contract
