The Role of a Superintendent

As the on-site leader, you will be the cornerstone of project execution, ensuring all activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all on-site matters, from team management to client relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Management & Safety: Oversee all on-site construction activities, enforcing strict safety protocols to maintain a secure and incident-free work environment.
• Subcontractor Coordination: Manage and coordinate all subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring seamless collaboration and adherence to project schedules.
• Project Oversight: Monitor progress against the master schedule, providing regular updates and proactively addressing potential delays or issues with the Project Manager.
• Quality Control: Conduct frequent quality inspections to ensure all workmanship meets high standards and complies with contract documents and building codes.
• Communication & Leadership: Foster a positive working atmosphere, mentor site personnel, and serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and maintaining strong relationships.
• Documentation & Planning: Interpret project drawings and specifications, manage on-site conflicts, and coordinate with the Project Manager on project budgets and cost controls.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful project delivery and a comprehensive understanding of the construction process.

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the Healthcare construction industry on projects 2M+.
• In-depth knowledge of ACHA
• A strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with a talent for motivating diverse teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and attention to detail.
• OSHA certification and a firm commitment to upholding rigorous safety standards.
