Job Description

Overview:

eos is looking for a Director of Media to be the mastermind behind how eos shows up in the world. This role is equal parts strategist, storyteller, and trend-spotter. You’ll lead our paid media game across digital, paid social, streaming, OOH, and linear TV. You’ll partner with our brand and creative teams to make sure our campaigns hit the right audience at the right time—with maximum cultural impact. You’ll be the go-to lead for our media agency, steering the day-to-day while keeping the big picture in focus. You’ll also manage one direct report and work hand-in-hand with our Director of Analytics to make sure every dollar is working as hard as possible.

This is a role for someone who loves moving fast, testing into new platforms, and staying ahead of what’s next in media.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and own the paid media strategy and execution across all channels: Digital, Paid Social, Video/Streaming, OOH, and Linear.
  • Serve as the main day-to-day lead with our media agency, driving communications, alignment, and performance.
  • Partner closely with the brand team to align media plans with strategy, messaging, and creative assets.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Analytics to define KPIs, track performance, and optimize media investment.
  • Stay on top of media trends, cultural shifts, and emerging platforms, identifying opportunities for eos to innovate and test new approaches.
  • Manage the media budget, ensuring accuracy, stewardship, and reconciliation of invoices.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and development for one direct report.
  • Represent the voice of media within the marketing organization, advocating for best practices and data-driven decision making.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in media planning and buying, including significant hands-on experience across Digital, Social, Video, and OOH.
  • Proven ability to lead agency relationships and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in KPI tracking, reporting, and media optimization.
  • Deep knowledge of the evolving media landscape and emerging platforms.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience managing budgets and reconciling media spend.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience managing and developing team members.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required
  • Experience in beauty, personal care, or CPG industries a plus
