About the Role:

We're seeking a skilled and creative Digital Designer with a strong SaaS and B2B marketing background to replace a valued team member. This role is crucial for developing visually compelling digital assets across various platforms. You'll be instrumental in bringing our brand and product to life through engaging visuals, including a significant focus on video content. Who you are: a proactive, detail-oriented designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating impactful digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Design and produce a wide range of digital marketing materials, including but not limited to:

  • Website graphics (landing pages, banners, icons)
  • Social media visuals (static posts, animated graphics, stories)
  • Email marketing templates and graphics
  • Digital advertising (display ads, paid social ads)
  • Presentations and sales enablement collateral
  • Infographics and data visualizations

Lead the production and editing of video content for various marketing channels (e.g., product demos, testimonials, promotional videos, social media clips). This includes:

  • Conceptualizing video ideas and storyboarding
  • Filming (if applicable and resources allow, otherwise working with existing footage)
  • Editing, motion graphics, and sound design
  • Optimizing video content for different platforms

Collaborate closely with the marketing team (content creators, demand generation, product marketing) to understand project requirements and translate marketing objectives into compelling visual designs.

  • Ensure brand consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all digital assets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design best practices, and new technologies in digital design and video production.
  • Manage and organize digital assets, ensuring easy accessibility for the marketing team.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input on marketing campaigns.
  • ​Be able to question and understand broad ideas and translate them into easily understood visuals.

Requirements

  • -5 years of professional experience as a Digital Designer, specifically within SaaS and B2B marketing environments.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing diverse digital design work, with a clear emphasis on video editing and production.
  • Expert proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including:
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe InDesign
  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Adobe After Effects
  • Figma
  • Solid understanding of design principles (typography, color theory, layout, hierarchy).
  • Experience with optimizing digital assets for web, social media, and email.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • A proactive, self-starter mentality with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate on designs.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience with UI/UX principles and designing for web platforms.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
  • Experience with animation or 3D design software.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards in digital design.
  • Understanding of print production best practices.
