Job Description

Chicago Title is seeking to hire a commercial real estate professional to perform closings for national business and local transaction in our Milwaukee office. The escrow officer leads the closing process for commercial real estate transaction throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase contracts, title commitments, and escrow instructions from attorneys and lenders to prepare settlement statements and closing documents.
• Perform basic math calculations to verify closing figures, prorations, and payoffs.
• Compile and organize all necessary documents to complete transactions.
• Review entity documents for closings.
• Collaborate with title officers, underwriters, and other team members to gather required information.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and update systems accordingly.
• Communicate with buyers/borrowers, sellers, attorneys, and brokers to provide timely updates.
• Address any post-closing matters as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by following established procedures and guidelines.
