Summary: The position of Client Engagement Specialist reports to the Director of Customer Experience. In collaboration with designated Territory Managers and dealers, this role is dedicated to fostering relationships, driving sales growth, and championing key programs/initiatives within the framework of the AMQ selling process.

Beyond these primary functions, the Specialist actively contributes to pricing strategies, guides product applications, addresses sales support issues, and plays a pivotal role in building AMQ brand awareness and advocates within the distribution channel. Their accountability extends to achieving sales targets and key implementation measures within their assignment, directly influencing AMQ’s GGOB goals. This is achieved through a focus on supporting and successfully closing profitable sales, as well as expanding our share of the overall product/business mix.

Internally, effective collaboration across all departments is integral to the success of this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Point of contact for TMs and Dealership Sales Representatives – may assist in developing relationships with assigned dealers and/or DSRs, focused primarily on winning business in the SMB segment.
  • Support achievement of sales targets as communicated by AMQ leadership.
  • Responsible for collaborating with sales leaders and TMs to manage and gather required information from Dealers to assist with the development and revisions to sales forecasts utilized in weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales channel performance.
  • Responsible for reviewing incoming design requests from TMs and dealers in preparation for Design execution.
  • Provides simple quotes, specifications, inventory reports and pre-order logistics.
  • Coordinates with MRT for complicated quotes, specifications, and design requests.
  • For larger projects or accounts with complex or unique requirements – a more hands on, project management approach may be required.
  • Partners with TMs and dealers as it pertains to quotes, pricing, and SKUs.
  • Collaborate with TMs and Strategic Pricing team to set pricing strategies for competitive opportunities.
  • Serves as expert in the pre-order entry process and all AMQ product lines – understanding the correlation between items.
  • Manages time effectively, demonstrates a sense of urgency, and exercises good judgment in setting priorities to complete tasks and meet deadlines. Has a strong attention to detail and the ability to balance workload.
  • Works with Account Coordinators to ensure customers have a delightful experience working with AMQ.
  • Re-directs information on detail of warranty/punch logistics to Customer Care where applicable.
  • Some travel may be required.

Experience/Education:

  • Associate degree (A.A.) preferred or equivalent from a two-year college; or at least three years related experience and/or training.
  • A moderate to high degree of working knowledge with various software programs such as Salesforce© the Microsoft Office-suite including, (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and various other software platforms essential to the delivery of the Company’s sales initiatives.
  • Prior working experience with commercial office furniture businesses preferred.
