Client Overview: Our client, a luxury jewelry brand, is seeking an Architectural Design Specialist to join their team in Long Island City, New York!

Role Overview: This position will play a pivotal role in managing architectural projects, including store design, renovations, and special initiatives that align with our brand’s commitment to excellence. As the Architectural Design Specialist, you will oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless project execution and maintaining the integrity of our retail environments. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage relationships will be crucial in driving project success and enhancing the client experience.

Architectural Design Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Manage store design projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with brand concept and standards.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while overseeing all project phases.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners, ensuring clear communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track project costs and collaborate with procurement teams to source materials efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities for workflow optimization and improve overall project efficiency through effective documentation practices.
  • Proactively identify risks and develop contingency plans to address potential issues on-site.

Architectural Design Specialist Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in architectural design within luxury retail, architecture, or interior design.
  • Understanding of retail store construction, millwork, fixture production, building codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving skills, and strong financial acumen.
